TALORA folds a rival's aircraft-performance calculator into its own EFB so pilots stop switching apps mid-flight

TALORA, the electronic flight bag platform built by DextraData Aviation Technologies, has integrated ASAP Inc.'s Mass & Balance and Runway Performance calculation modules directly into its own system, announced at Air Charter Expo 2026. The combined platform now offers certified performance calculations across more than 320 aircraft types spanning Airbus, Boeing, ATR, Embraer, Bombardier, Cessna and Gulfstream airframes, alongside TALORA's existing navigation charts, electronic flight folder and general operational documentation — consolidating tools pilots previously had to switch between into a single application. TALORA's chief commercial officer Stephen Young described the integration as building "a genuine all-in-one EFB environment" by folding in ASAP's STAR performance-calculation engine specifically, rather than developing a competing calculator from scratch. ASAP's global EFB manager Justin Ruff framed the payoff similarly, from the performance-data side: combining "ASAP's aircraft performance expertise with TALORA's connected flight operations environment" to cut down on the cockpit workflow of moving between separate apps for navigation, documentation and performance calculations during a single flight.
EFB maker TALORA has integrated ASAP Inc.'s mass-and-balance and runway-performance modules directly into its own platform, covering certified calculations for more than 320 aircraft types. Both companies frame the deal as removing app-switching from the cockpit rather than adding a genuinely new capability to the market.
