Condor has gone live with Swiss-AS's AMOSeTL electronic technical log across its fleet of roughly 60 Airbus A330neo and A320-family aircraft, replacing a paper-based tech log process. The go-live took place in July 2026 after a parallel testing period that ran from December 2025. The system provides three modes, PILOT, CABIN and MAINT, so that flight crew, cabin crew and maintenance staff work within one integrated digital process. All pilots, cabin crew and mechanics completed mandatory training, reaching 100% by the end of June 2026. Condor, which has operated since 1956, carries around 10 million passengers a year to more than 70 destinations in Europe, Africa, Asia and North America and employs more than 5,000 people. Condor's director of airworthiness, Sandra Volk, said moving from paper to one integrated digital process creates a consistent workflow. Swiss-AS business consultant Gavin Gronert said the go-live shows what can be achieved when technology, operational requirements and user needs are brought together from the outset.

The airline went live on AMOSeTL in July after parallel testing that began in December, with every pilot, cabin crew member and mechanic trained by June. The system has separate pilot, cabin and maintenance modes.

An industry analysis argues most carriers already have AI strategies but lack the governance structure to make them stick once systems move from pilots into production. It calls for a central function with real budget and veto power, not just advisory input.
