Flight operations software provider Evoke Systems published a post arguing that operational dashboards can create an 'illusion of control,' where teams mistake visibility for actual understanding of what is happening on the ground. The piece is aimed at airline operations and training teams using its EFOS platform, encouraging a closer look at how shift handovers and daily logs are actually used rather than just what data is displayed. It follows a string of recent EFOS updates, including a mobile app launch and improvements aimed specifically at fixing weak shift-handover processes.
