EASA opens its latest AI Concept Paper for industry comment

EASA has released the latest issue of its Concept Paper on Artificial Intelligence, opening it for public and industry comment. The paper builds on the agency's earlier AI Roadmap work and its first Concept Paper, continuing a staged approach that ties the level of regulatory scrutiny to how much autonomy a given machine-learning system has in aviation decision-making. Further guidance is expected as more AI-assisted tools move from research projects toward real deployment in cockpit and ground operations.
