Documentation platform Yonder moves its AI processing entirely onto the device

Swiss documentation platform Yonder has launched an AI feature that runs entirely on-device on compatible iPhones and iPads, rather than sending data to external servers the way most enterprise AI tools do. The offline approach has earned NATO approval for handling classified information — a distinction the company is positioning for aviation operators and other safety-critical industries where data cannot leave the organisation's own devices. The feature is available to existing subscribers at no extra cost and can be switched off at an organisational level.
