Turkish Airlines training academy takes delivery of two new type-specific simulators

Turkish Airlines Flight Academy has taken delivery of two new flight training devices — one for the Boeing 737 MAX, the other for the Airbus A320neo — after both passed factory acceptance testing at manufacturer FTD.aero. Each simulator uses an OEM flight-deck section built for its specific aircraft type and can reproduce a range of system malfunctions for training purposes. Both devices are designed with upgrade paths that anticipate EASA's incoming Flight Simulation Training Device Capability Signature framework, rather than being built solely to today's device categories.
