Bytron's skybook system now auto-generates 12 million crew briefings a year

Source: Bytron Aviation Systems· Dan Cook· 3 Jun 2026
Flight-planning technology provider Bytron says its skybook dispatch platform now automates more than 12 million digital crew briefing packages annually across over 130 operators. The system pulls together operational flight plans, crew rosters, weather, NOTAMs and ACARS messaging into a single interface, letting flight operations officers track delays, fuel and crew changes without switching between tools. Jeppesen's Director of Flight Planning & Dispatch, Mathew Buettner, said the goal is a genuinely integrated approach to managing flight data and crew monitoring rather than a collection of separate systems.
