Dispatchers and operations specialists at American Airlines have approved a new five-year contract, according to an airline release carried by Aerocrew News on 28 October 2026. The group, represented by the Professional Airline Flight Control Association (PAFCA), numbers nearly 600 people. American says the agreement includes significant pay increases that take effect immediately. The published text gives no figures on rates, benefits or the size of the ratification vote. Jessica Tyler, American's senior vice president of its Integrated Operations Center, called it a well-deserved contract for a team she described as the best in the business. The dispatchers and operations specialists work in the airline's operations control environment, so the deal settles terms for a small but operationally central workgroup for the next five years.
Nearly 600 members of the Professional Airline Flight Control Association approved the new agreement. American says the raises take effect immediately.
